Abuelita's home in Cochabamba

Here's a view of the street where Abuelita has her home. Virtually every home in a Bolivian city has high walls with spikes at the top. Abue's is on the right side.
This is the front yard. Abuelita manages the yard work all by herself and loves to plant flowers.

The palm provides a nice bit of shade for those sunny days relaxing in the yard.

Cochabamba is fairly warm all year long, and so the fireplace isn't used very often, but its design is gorgeous.
